Kensi Gounden presenting biography of Barbara Jordan (educator, lawyer and politician) was the first African American since Reconstruction to serve in the Texas Senate and then the first African American woman from the South to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives. More than 20 years he worked as a lawyer for the government. Keke was a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Benin in 2007-11 fifth and sixth convocations 2011-2015.
